This weekend is an important one for our 1st XI with a winnable game against Birstall and for the 2s facing fellow promotion hopefuls Townville. The 3s have a chance to scrape their way back to the top of the table against Thornbury while the 4s host Yorkshire LPS.

Match Day sponsor: Jade Chapman Bad luck with the weather meant the 1s couldn't finish their game against Undercliffe. They were in a bit of trouble at 58/3 and hadn't yet earned any batting points. They travel to Birstall for a winnable game - as long as the rain stays away.

George Barker hit the first Baildon century of the season against Undercliffe last Saturday. He scored 153 of our 237 as he dispatched the ball to all parts with 23 4s and 5 6s. He's unfortunately unavailable this week against Townville. There are other's who will be keen to step up including Sam Woledge-Wilkinson who scored some eye-catching runs in the away fixture.

Baildon 3rd XI v Thornbury 2nd XI - Thornbury @ 13:30
There was a disappointing loss for the 3s against Headingley Bramhope last week as after restricting them to 130 we were bowled out for 68. Danny Bell took 4-30 with the new ball supported by Josh Hannan (2-22) and Dan 'Mini' Metcalfe (2-31). Only Tom Pickles and James Butterfield made double figures in our response. Both are promoted to the 2s this week so others will need to step up and many are capable.
